We are open for guests at 4pm, don't worry we won't turn you away if you arrive earlier, but you we may still be doing the chores! We welcome you to a cup of tea or coffee after 4pm in our large kitchen/dining room when you arrive.
The B&B rooms are in a purpose-built extension at the back of the house so you can come and go as you please through the back door, which leads into our garden where you will find many different varieties of flowers, plants, fruit and vegetables (and occasionally some foraging wildlife). We use our raspberries and apples to make home-made jams and jellies for you to sample at breakfast. Frances would be more than happy to give you a guided tour of the garden, but in the meantime, there are pictures to give you an introduction opposite
The accomodation is in two bedrooms: one with 2 single beds; and a family room with 3 single beds.
There is a separate shower room with wash basin, and a separate WC with wash basin, both shared among the guests (we have no en-suite accomodation). Towels, TV, and a hairdryer are all provided, washing and drying of clothes can be done by arrangement, and ironing facilities are available. Wi-Fi is also available, and we do take well behaved dogs.
Breakfast is at 8.30am unless otherwise arranged. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements, as we normally serve a full Scottish breakfast of cereal, and any combination of oak smoked salmon, egg, bacon, sausage, tomato, potato scone, and toast, along with home made marmalade and jams.
